The Atlantic, layer by layer.

The process

Three hours of hands, thread and patience.

There are no moulds and no rush in this studio: every doll is stitched one stitch at a time, every piñata gets its fringes one by one, every layer of resin waits for the one before. What reaches your hands took hours of mine — which is why no two pieces are ever alike.

01 The sketch Everything starts with a conversation and a drawing: the idea takes shape on paper before it takes shape in material.

02 The hands Thread stitched one stitch at a time, fringes one by one, resin layers that wait for the one before.

03 The finishing The last details by the window light: every piece leaves here when it is ready — not before.

The story

From Venezuela to Madeira

I learned this craft in Venezuela, among paper, fabric and patience. Today I live in Madeira and carry both lands in every piece: the colour of where I come from and the calm of where I am. Everything that leaves this studio passed through my hands first.

Custom commissions

Imagine the piece. Lili makes it.

A different colour, a unique shape, a special date? Tell me your idea, I sketch it and guide the budget, and I make your piece — on average, three weeks from idea to delivery.

The delivery

Opening the box is part of the piece

Every piece leaves here in a rigid box, tied by hand and closed with the studio seal — with a card written by me. Whether it is a gift or staying with you, I want the first moment to already be a beautiful one.
